FOUNDER I DANCE ARTIST

Lara Müller is a Swiss dance artist (BA 2020 Contemporary Dance ZHdK) that has worked across Switzerland, the Netherlands and Finland, contributing to diverse artistic projects and developing a versatile movement language.

In 2024, she founded EYE DANCE, an initiative dedicated to creating dance works that emphasize both sensory engagement and inclusivity. Central to Lara’s artistic vision is the belief that dance should be an accessible and immersive experience. She is committed to fostering a place for dance where audiences are not merely observers, but participants who connect with the emotional and physical resonance of movement. Through her work, she aims to contribute to a more open and inclusive dance community.

Theatre Artist

Anna-Riina Virtanen is a professional dancer, actress and theater director. She specializes in children's theater; how to create magical, unique and unforgettable experiences for children and their families. Also Method Acting and text theater in combination with strong physical expression is close to her heart. Anna-Riina trained in Turku Conservatory, Örebro University and Stockholm University of the Arts, and she works both in Finland and Sweden.

SOUND ARTIST

Jaakko Kulomaa is a musician and music technology expert with experience in live electronics, sound design, recording/ production and composition. He has worked on projects ranging from sound design for contemporary dance and music theatre, electro-acoustic live electronics performances to jazz/pop recordings and movie composition. Jaakko has performed both as a keyboard player and vocalist in various bands and projects. Jaakko is also a graphic designer with over 25 years of work experience in design.

VISUAL ARTIST

Lotta Esko (MA 2003 Aalto University and Visual Culture, Contemporary Art and Curating MA 2021, Aalto University) works with visual arts and performance design. Lotta Esko has had solo exhibitions in Helsinki, Amsterdam and Toronto. She has also taken part in group exhibitions in Helsinki, Rovaniemi, Berlin and New York.
